Enrich your local curriculum with an Antarctic Education Programme that reaches the very heart of the continent. Our interactive exhibits are equal parts education and entertainment, wholly unique and incredibly multifaceted.

We offer interactive curriculum-based programmes for Early Childhood, Secondary, Tertiary and international student groups. We also cater for sports teams, community groups and run school holiday programmes.

KEY INFO

Education Programmes include General Admission entry. The Hägglunds Field Trip and 4D Theatre show are optional extras. We will work with you to ensure the needs of your students are met.

EDUCATION PRICING

New Zealand Education Institutions Rates and Ratios 2024/ 2025:

TIME:
Programmes are 2.25 hours long.

MINIMUM NUMBER:
A minimum of 10 students are required for the education rate.

SUPERVISION:
Minimum adult to student supervision ratios: ECE: 1:2, Years 0-8: 1:5, Years 9-13: 1:15
Additional adults above required ratio: $12.00 per adult.

COST:
New Zealand Primary, Secondary and Tertiary student rate: $12.00 per student. Education Leaders: FOCSupervising adults up to the required ratio: FOC. Additional adults above required ratio: $12.00 per adult.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:
Hägglund ride and 4D Theatre experience are optional extras with additional costs.
